HRA PHARMA APPOINTS OTC MEDICAL AS DISTRIBUTOR IN THE NETHERLANDS IN A BID TO EXPAND FURTHER IN THE DUTCH MARKET

As a result of recent growth and restructuring, HRA Pharma selects OTC Medical as their official distributor in the Netherlands.

HRA Pharma believes there is further strong growth potential in the Dutch market with the hope that the appointment will encourage this expansion.

Consumer healthcare company HRA Pharma has today announced the appointment of OTC Medical, a marketing and sales organisation for over-the-counter products including medicine, as its exclusive distributor in the Netherlands. This comes after recent growth and restructuring of HRA Pharma alongside plans to expand its business further in the Dutch market.

As of January 2021, OTC Medical will take full responsibility of retail customers for the sales and distribution of HRA Pharma’s consumer healthcare brands ellaOne, NorLevo and Compeed in the Netherlands. OTC Medical will succeed Jan Willem Bartels of 2E’s Selfcare who as the marketing and sales consultant for HRA Pharma in the Netherlands has successfully grown the business over the past four years.

OTC Medical is one of the fastest growing companies for self-care medicines and is within the top 10 suppliers for drugstores, pharmacies, supermarkets and health shops in the Netherlands.
