DOCTOR CARE ANYWHERE ADDS HOME DELIVERY OPTION TO E-PRESCRIPTION SERVICES WITH SIGNATURE PHARMACY PARTNERSHIP

Doctor Care Anywhere (‘DCA’) today announces that it has partnered with Signature Pharmacy, the UK’s leading online pharmacy, as a delivery partner for its e-prescription services. This will enable patients who have been prescribed medication by a DCA GP to have their prescription delivered straight to their home, or an address of choice, 7 days a week, resulting in a simpler and smoother journey for them.

Following a 20-minute consultation with a DCA GP, patients will now be able to choose to have their private prescription delivered to them, wherever they are in the UK, without delay. Same-day deliveries will be available in London, and next day for the rest of the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. For most regions, deliveries will be free of charge, with a small fee required in certain areas.

This service will be available to the 2 million eligible lives DCA covers in the UK through its main channel partnerships – including some of the world’s largest insurance providers and healthcare groups – as well as all new and existing customers directly signed up to the DCA platform.

DCA’s e-prescriptions provide a secure, seamless and local way for patients to receive their medication quickly, and patients can keep a note of all their prescriptions on their secure digital patient record, which can be accessed whenever and wherever they want.
