New branding for a new vision: DocMorris
Heerlen, 26.11.2020 – It is already apparent in practice today: digitalisation is increasingly becoming the key distinguishing feature for all players in healthcare. Europe’s largest mail-order pharmacy is therefore moving step by step from being a pure drugs retailer to a digital healthcare services provider and will further build on its position as a driver of innovation and the number one in the market.
To reflect all these trends in the healthcare market in the DocMorris brand identity and architecture, with immediate effect the pharmacy will have a new brand image. In future the company will focus even more closely on customers and caring for their health.
A logical consequence of this shift in outlook is to replace the previous pharmacy cross with a symbol of humans and their health – the heart. The pharmacy remains the cornerstone of the DocMorris brand, providing support with its light green lettering. The varying shades of green for the heart also reflect the variety of current and future services made possible by digitalisation even more personal and individual: advice, drug therapy safety, chronic patient care, electronic prescriptions and medication plans.
“Customer expectations of pharmacies and other healthcare service providers are rising steadily. Here too, digitalisation is the driver. They expect the highest level of service, safety and specialist expertise and want their needs to be met seamlessly and easily in a way that suits our lifestyle. Hence this is the right time to demonstrate our commitment to the customer-focused future of digital healthcare with a new brand identity. The DocMorris pharmacy branding is just the start of a change in paradigm from pharma to healthcare”, explains Frank Müller Chief Marketing Officer of the Germany segment of the Zur Rose Group.
The new design for the DocMorris brand will be unveiled in stages. All the variants of the brand image have been implemented jointly with the famous international design agency Mucho of Barcelona, Spain.
