Edgile Releases ServiceNow Automated Regulatory Compliance (ArC) for 2021
ArC delivers regulatory content updates every quarter to keep subscribers current with new industry-specific laws resulting in more cost-effective integrated risk management and compliance.
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Edgile, the leading cyber risk and regulatory compliance consulting firm, today announced the quarterly release of its Automated Regulatory Compliance (ArC) content service that includes the most recent regulatory updates as of Q4 2020.
Edgile’s award-winning ArC service delivers more than 500 harmonized laws, regulations and industry standards and automatically loads them into the ServiceNow GRC policy module. The reports include actionable information on mandates and precedents, enabling an up-to-date risk and compliance readiness posture that is proactive instead of reactive. Because regulations and enforcement practices are constantly changing, the content is updated every quarter so subscribers can maintain a solid foundation for integrated risk and compliance management.
The Q4 content update adds several new authoritative sources to the ArC Master Library, including expanded guidance for security, system and privacy-related National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and International Standard for Organization (ISO) controls, plus new international data privacy and antitrust laws and regulations. One new source for Q4, NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5, features a control family for supply chain risk management, a critical need as demonstrated by the massive SolarWinds Orion network supply chain hack.
“The sheer complexity of managing an ever-changing risk and compliance landscape demands that businesses embrace automation balanced with the realities of business operations,” said David Deckter, Edgile Partner. “Our ArC Content Service provides the critical, up-to-date harmonization a modern compliance program demands. ArC has been proven to effectively accelerate such programs for clients who require immediate risk assessment capabilities to better understand their organization’s security posture.”
ArC Content—available through certified ServiceNow Store apps—is the backbone of Edgile’s comprehensive ServiceNow GRC Quick Start packages which help clients avoid the costs of integrating content with ServiceNow and the expense (both time and money) of continuously monitoring, updating and operationalizing regulatory changes.
The ArC Content Service is maintained by Edgile compliance experts in PCI DSS, Sarbanes Oxley, FFIEC, GLBA, FRB Reg A-YY, HIPAA, Privacy, FDA, NERC CIP and more. ArC monitors federal regulatory amendments and state privacy laws, including state sources for personal information protection, security breaches, data sharing, identity theft and notification.
Edgile’s Regulatory Change Management solution provides a closed-loop process to surgically identify necessary changes to policies, standards and controls across the organization which are then automatically loaded into the ServiceNow GRC policy module in an easy-to-navigate IT risk management framework. ArC can also be used with legacy GRC systems outside of ServiceNow.
Annual ArC subscriptions are available on a paid quarterly basis for the following 20 industries: Medical Device Manufacturer; Pharmaceutical Life Sciences; Healthcare Provider; Healthcare Provider + Research; Healthcare Payer; Healthcare Payer + Medicaid; Financial Services; Financial Services + Broker/Dealer; Property and Casualty; Property and Casualty + Life; Gaming; Utilities; Oil and Gas; Manufacturing; Technology; Retail; Government; Media; Transportation; and Real Estate.
