Cleveland Diagnostics Receives College of American Pathologists (CAP) Accreditation for Its Clinical Laboratory

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cleveland Diagnostics, Inc., a commercial-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation diagnostic tests for the early detection of cancers, announced today that it has received Laboratory Accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for its CLIA certified reference lab. The CAP Accreditation is awarded to laboratories that meet stringent requirements and maintain the highest standards of laboratory quality, accuracy, and consistency.

The CAP accreditation process is designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients and includes an intense site inspection with rigorous examination of the laboratory’s records and quality control procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management.
