Former Medtronic Communications Leader Joins Ford Hutman Media as Executive Vice President
Julia Fuller to Join Agency to Help Lead Communications Company into Next Phase of Growth
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#PR--Ford Hutman Media (FHM), an industry-leading, life science-focused strategic communications firm, has named Julia Fuller as Executive Vice President, effective immediately.
In this new role, Fuller will serve as a senior counselor and strategic account lead for FHM’s growing client roster. She will also work in close partnership with FHM leadership on business development and recruitment efforts, as well as helping to expand the agency’s capabilities in social media and internal communications. She will report directly to Rachel Ford Hutman, chief executive officer and founder of FHM.

Julia comes to FHM from Medtronic, plc, a leading global healthcare company, where she led internal and external communications for the Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services Operating Unit. In this role, she also served on the Operating Unit leadership staff. Earlier in her career at Medtronic, she led public relations and social media for the former Aortic, Peripheral, and Venous division within the company, which included supporting three separate business units.
Prior to her role at Medtronic, Julia served as Senior Account Director with W2O Group (renamed Real Chemistry) in San Francisco where she managed daily client account activities and broader communications strategies for a wide variety of biotechnology, medical device and digital health companies. Her specific areas of focus included product and corporate communications, as well as media relations.

Julia received her Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Loyola Marymount University.
