eHealth-Tec achieves first place in the TOP 100 competition

Berlin, 26.11.2021 – For the 28th time, the national TOP 100 competition is choosing the most innovative German mid-sized companies. The jury has decided that eHealth-Tec, the developer of solutions for using structured digital data to network medical institutions at the highest technical and medical level, is the leading innovator in its size category.

The company is a subsidiary of the Zur Rose Group of Switzerland. The jury of experts from business, academia, media and politics scored it an A+ in the following categories

• Top management
• External focus
• Processes and organisation
• Climate for innovation

Top-100 mentor Ranga Yogeshwar praised eHealth-Tec CEO Tobias Leipold at the final. For this year’s round of the innovation competition, the team of academics led by Professor Nikolaus Franke for compamedia looked at a total of 435 submissions from medium-sized companies in three different size categories and analysed them using more than 100 indicators in five groups. In his innovation assessment Professor Franke praised eHealth-Tec as a company that “is systematically focused on shaping the new” and understands “that investing in innovation is the business success of tomorrow.” eHealth-Tec works on the future of digital healthcare: the ERPath emergency room information system that it has developed supports the work of medical specialists in emergency rooms in more than 100 hospitals, and through its proven technology the company is involved in the nationwide roll-out of e-prescriptions across Germany.
