Life Science Connect's Life Science Leader and Outsourced Pharma today announced the winners of the 2022 CMO Leadership Awards, an honor that spotlights excellence in Capabilities, Expertise, Quality, Compatibility, Reliability, and Service.

ISR's Contract Manufacturing Quality Benchmarking research is conducted annually via an online survey. This year 83 contract manufacturers were evaluated on 23 different performance metrics. Research participants were recruited from biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes and were screened for decision-making influence and authority when it comes to working with contract manufacturing suppliers. Respondents only evaluated companies with which they have worked on an outsourced project within the past 18 months. CMOs can be recognized in six core categories by three groups of respondents-Big Pharma, Small Pharma, and Overall (combined Big and Small Pharma).
Many biopharma organizations employ the winner list when seeking outsourcing partners, especially as they look to overcome pandemic hurdles, supply chain challenges, and advancing demands of new platforms and technologies.
