Appoints experienced Erik Söderbäck as head of diagnostics sales.
Nasdaq First North-listed Qlucore - whose software creates the conditions for faster, better and more accurate cancer diagnosis - employs Erik Söderbäck as head of diagnostics sales. Erik Söderbäck has over 30 years of experience in DNA sequencing and most recently came from QIAGEN Europe, where he was responsible for market development of products and solutions for clinical genomics. He will join the team April 7th.
Erik Söderbäck has a PhD in plant physiology and microbiology. He has more than 30 years of experience in DNA sequencing and analyzes. For the past 20 years, he has worked with products and sales in various applications in the space of large-scale DNA and RNA sequencing.
- Through Eriks Söderbäck's expertise and extensive experience in the diagnostics area, there are very good conditions for Qlucore to accelerate its establishment in the market for clinical cancer diagnostics. A market and customer needs, he knows and understand very well, says Carl-Johan Ivarsson, Qlucore's CEO.
In the early 2000s, Erik Söderbäck participated in the development of methods and applications at the company Pyrosequencing in Uppsala, which was later part of QIAGEN. He has also worked as on American IonTorrent and Life Technologies, today ThermoFisher Scientific.
- What I have done before is completely in line with Qlucore's operations and development. I will contribute to introducing Qlucore's software in clinical diagnostics on the market, says Erik Söderbäck.
Qlucore's software creates the conditions for better cancer care. This is made possible by advanced visualization based on mathematics and biology and makes it easier for pathologists and analysts to make a faster and more accurate diagnose.
