Wellgistics' CEO Brian Norton today announced the acquisition of Detroit-based Pharmaceutical Manufacturer & Distributor APD. "Independent Retail Pharmacies are in serious need of better products & services," explained Norton while discussing the acquisition. The acquisition brings added depth to new supplier relationships, specialty products, services, and management. APD has been an accredited leader in the pharmacy industry for almost 10 years, specializing in hundreds of unique proprietary drug formulations as well as a nationwide sales distribution of generic and short-dated Rx products.
After nearly a decade in business, Norton sees the addition of APD as a strategic opportunity to deepen pharmacy relationships, offerings, and add more services.
