Kepler Vision Technologies launches international expansion with NESK partnership 

●     Computer vision monitoring provider Kepler Vision has partnered with Norwegian healthcare ICT provider NESK

·        This marks the first expansion for Kepler Vision outside of its home market of the Netherlands

 

Amsterdam, 12th July 2022 — Kepler Vision Technologies – a global leader in the development of vision-based human activity recognition software - today announced a partnership with Norwegian healthcare ICT Provider NESK that will see its computer vision software look after the wellbeing of elderly patients in care homes and hospitals in Norway.

Kepler Vision’s Night Nurse (KNN) solution is a computer vision-based body language detection system able to detect falls, patient discomfort and wandering, notifying care staff so that they can respond immediately. By combining machine learning training and computer vision, KNN outperforms motion sensors, bed mats, and wearable monitoring systems by a factor of 1,000 in cutting down on false alarms, massively reducing the strain they place on care staff, and freeing their time for more in-person care.

NESK is a healthcare ICT provider offering connected solutions to ensure the wellbeing of patients in care homes, hospitals, psychiatric institutions and in homes. The solutions it offers are designed to limit the loss of autonomy, and to better coordinate and provide professional care in all environments where it is needed.
