Jean-Frédéric Chibret, President of Laboratoires Théa, has received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2022

KEELE, October 2022: The President of our Laboratoires Théa, Jean-Frédéric Chibret, has won the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award at a national level during a ceremony which took place at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. This was a winning double for Mr Chibret who only days before won Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

After the regional award, this new distinction celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit that is Théa's DNA; a spirit that the EY national jury unanimously recognised when it discovered Théa and the values shared by Jean-Frédéric, and Henri Chibret before him.

With Jean-Fréderic at the helm, Laboratoires Théa has pursued rapid expansion, attaining a stronger presence in Europe than the former Laboratoires Chibret and becoming a key player in the field of ophthalmology.  Their products are now available in more than 65 countries worldwide.

Speaking of his work at Laboratoires Théa, where he has been Chairman since 2008, Jean-Fréderic said, ‘‘My greatest pride in Théa’s journey is to continue the family adventure and to develop the company while preserving an entrepreneurial, industrial, responsible and above all human Capitalism.”’
