Greenphire Launches Patient-Powered Research Registry Allowing Foundations to Better Engage and Support Patients
Registry provides specialized approach for foundations to communicate with members, deliver clinical trial matching capabilities in one place, and more
King of Prussia, PA (March 21, 2023) – Greenphire, the global leader in financial lifecycle management for clinical trials, today unveiled its all-new Patient-Powered Research Registry, designed to help foundations more effectively engage and support patients. The Patient-Powered Research Registry comes at a time when foundations need more insights from patients than ever before, and are accelerating their use of digital technology to meet that need.
The comprehensive mobile and web-based registry will allow disease-specific foundations to communicate with members – delivering insights such as personalized health information, employing interactive tools such as virtual surveys, and connecting and matching members with clinical trials that they may be interested in. Foundations are able to create and manage content quickly and easily, streamlining operations and improving analytics to enhance patient support and provide value-added data to key stakeholders such as their boards of directors.
“We are absolutely committed to stewarding the entire patient journey,” said Jim Murphy, CEO of Greenphire. “From diagnosis through participating in clinical trials, our vision is to build the most thoughtfully constructed patient-centric experience available and deliver it seamlessly. We are proud to now offer the Patient-Powered Research Registry in conjunction with our foundational solutions which remove financial and logistical barriers.”
For patients, the Patient-Powered Research Registry allows them to receive trusted information on their disease, enables them to be a part of a community with others with the same diagnosis, and provides the flexibility to share information, such as treatments they are participating in and side effects, in real-time.
"Built by a neuroscientist with the patient in mind, the Patient-Powered Research Registry takes the clinical trial landscape one step closer to true patient-centricity. An app should not be cumbersome or difficult to use, but engaging and useful for patients. They deal with enough having to navigate life and their disease,” said Clay Williams, VP of Mobile Applications at Greenphire. “We heard what foundations needed and built technology to address it. This registry makes it easier for them to engage with patients, leading to more meaningful data that can be used for research purposes and simply to make patients’ lives better.”
The Patient-Powered Research Registry allows foundations to become even more valuable partners to sponsors by providing foundations with a powerful tool to facilitate connections between sponsors and participants in clinical trials. In addition, it allows them to more easily identify potential participants based on their medical history, geographic location, and other criteria. It also helps keep patients engaged throughout the trial by providing real-time updates on progress and results easily from an interactive and helpful app.
“The Patient-Powered Research Registry has been a powerful resource for our foundation,” said Dana Mooney, Program Associate, at the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance. “Foundations are not equipped with the staff and finances to build an in-house solution for connecting with patients. This registry is an efficient resource that is easy to use and enables us to truly dedicate our time and resources toward our mission of transforming and improving the lives of people living with metastatic breast cancer.”
Greenphire has also announced its participation in the following:
