Meet the UK’s largest scientific instrumentation distributor at Lab Innovations

~ SciMed to share insight into the innovative instrumentation that is helping academic and industrial labs become more sustainable ~

The UK’s largest distributor of scientific instrumentation, SciMed will exhibit at this year’s Lab Innovations where its experts will share insight into innovative instrumentation for use in academic and industrial labs. These include, but are not limited to, supercritical CO2 systems, environmental analysers and oil condition monitoring equipment. To meet SciMed’s team and hear about some of the instruments it supplies in person, visit stand E70 at Lab Innovations on November 1 and 2 at the NEC, Birmingham.

At Lab Innovations 2023, SciMed will share insight into instrumentation and analysis equipment for chemical processing applications, such as supercritical CO2 systems and ultrasonic processing equipment. Its team can also help with chemical analysis applications, such as environmental analysers, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and discuss oil conditioning monitoring equipment, such as oil analysis spectrometers, fluid analysis systems and handheld lubricant condition monitors.

“At this year’s Lab Innovations, we will speak to new and existing customers about the state-of-the-art lab equipment that is helping the industry become more sustainable and save money,” explained Paul Vanden Branden, director and product manager at SciMed. “For example, we supply supercritical CO2 systems that allow scientists to perform separations and extractions without using environmentally harmful hexane. We also supply ICP-MS systems that operate using half the argon of traditional systems, which helps improve sustainability while providing savings upwards of £10,000 a year in labs with a high argon requirement.

“SciMed takes pride in helping scientists, engineers and technicians solve their analytical and process challenges. Lab Innovations is an extremely important show for us because we can meet all our customers from across different industries in one place. It is a great opportunity to hear from customers in person, so we can fully understand their requirements and operational situations and work with them to deliver the best solution to meet their requirements and overcome any challenges they face in their business.”
