Copley claims gold!

Flourishing local business demonstrates exemplary Investors in People performance.

Copley Scientific, a major success story in the Nottinghamshire SME (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise) landscape, has been awarded a coveted gold rating in its first Investors in People assessment. While gold puts the company in the top quartile of award holders, only around 2% of companies achieve this level straight out of the gate. IIP is a global organisation operating in more than 66 countries with the stated aim of ‘making work better’. Their assessment of Copley provides a ringing endorsement of company practice, management, and culture.

Copley is a supplier of pharmaceutical testing equipment with unique expertise and global leadership in the field of inhaler testing. The IIP accreditation begins with a rigorous survey followed up with one-to-one and group interviews, and close observation of the company as it goes about its day-to-day business.  The resulting accreditation lasts for three years backed by annual maintenance visits.

This latest accolade rounds out an impressive couple of years for the company which took Nottinghamshire Business of the Year at the annual East Midlands Chamber of Commerce awards in 2022, and saw Mark Copley, CEO, handed the International Growth Award as part of the LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2023.
