GenesisCare UK appoints Second Doctor Director to UK Board

GenesisCare UK, the UK’s leading private cancer care provider, is pleased to confirm the appointment of a second Doctor Director to its UK Board. 

The newly appointed Director, Dr Simon Russell, a Consultant Oncologist whose NHS practice is based at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and who specialises in the provision of radiation and systemic therapy to patients with breast and urological cancers.

Simon trained at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, London, and following general medical training undertook his oncology training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and University College London. Simon is actively involved in private clinical practice and clinical research, lectures widely.

Simon is Associate Medical Director at Check4Cancer and has significant experience gained working in the medico-legal sector.
