Call for Speakers: Upcoming Careers Event with Future Biotechnologists

Future Biotechnologists is holding an outreach event on 16th October 2024 at Nower Hill School in Pinner. Dedicated to inspiring students to pursue a career in the life sciences, Future Biotechnologists would welcome hearing from anyone willing to participate in the event. 

Future Biotechnologists is a not-for-profit project connecting schools and colleges in the UK with the local life science sector to help build the industry’s future workforce. We are keen that speakers come from a diversity of backgrounds to demonstrate the commitment of the sector to diversity, equality and inclusiveness. 

We welcome as many volunteers as possible and often have two to three volunteers from individual companies. Given the tight deadline we would welcome hearing from potential volunteers as soon as possible. 

The event is modelled on a successful event held in Oxfordshire in April 2024. That event was described by Rebecca Vaughan, Careers & Work Experience lead at Lord Williams's School as: "...the best external careers event I've attended (of which there have been quite a lot over 12 years!)."
