ZPB Associates appoints Dr Arvind Madan and Dr Jenny Shand to senior advisory team

Healthcare communications agency ZPB Associates has expanded its senior team by adding Dr Arvind Madan and Dr Jenny Shand as new Senior Associates. The appointments are expected to strengthen ZPB’s strategic offering to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.

Former National Primary Care Director at NHS England, Dr Madan brings a wealth of senior experience and a visionary approach to primary care. Dr Madan is a senior partner in the Hurley Group, one of England’s most successful GP practice groups, providing care to over 200,000 people in London. He is also co-founder of eConsult, a digital triage platform that allows patients to electronically submit their symptoms to a GP.

Former Chief Strategy Officer at UCL Partners, Dr Shand is one of the UK’s foremost experts in population health management and evidence-based healthcare innovation. As Associate Professor for Health Services and Population Research within the Faculty of Brain Sciences at University College London (UCL), Dr Shand leads a variety of research projects aiming to transform outcomes in priority areas and reduce health inequalities.

Bolstering ZPB’s existing expertise, the appointment of Dr Madan and Dr Shand will expand the organisation’s strategic offer to clients, with particular focus on understanding and engaging primary care organisations and underserved communities. Dr Madan and Dr Shand join ZPB’s existing Senior Associates, Dr Nav Chana MBE, Clinical Director of the National Association of Primary Care (NAPC) and Mike Bell, Chair of South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB).
