Alex Bond, CEO of FreshCheck commented: “We are extremely excited to move to Canary Wharf and join the London Innovation Centre. From our first visit we were extremely impressed by the space itself, and the equipment and facilities available. As any startup will know, large capital expenditure can be difficult to balance, so moving into the ready-made space relieves headaches and provides great security. The flexibility to grow is also exciting - Kadans made clear to us their priority to allow room to increase, which was attractive to us as we hit a real growth journey. Added to this the amazing staff, fantastic network across Europe, and the plans for expansion more locally it was a no-brainer to move in. We’re very much looking forward to collaborating with all the other companies and organisations at the London Innovation Centre and seeing the innovative spirit flourish.
Katie Nelson, Head of Leasing UK & Ireland, Kadans Science Partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome FreshCheck to the London Innovation Centre, which we believe is the ideal location for the company as it looks to grow. At Kadans, our ambition is to create a flexible, thriving community where early-stage innovators can access the resources and support they need to bring their ideas to fruition. The London Innovation Centre equips Kadans tenants with the resources and relationships necessary to scale their businesses. We are eager to see what FreshCheck can accomplish by leveraging the unique opportunities for collaboration in the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic urban environments here in Canary Wharf.”
