Veranova Recognized as One of SOCMA’s 25 Companies for Industry-Leading Safety Programs

Wayne, PA – Veranova is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by The Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates, Inc.® (SOCMA) as a recipient of its prestigious 2024 Safety Recognition Program. Along with other honorees, Veranova has been acknowledged for its contribution to the safety culture of the specialty chemicals industry at both its West Deptford, NJ site (for the second year in a row) and at its Devens, MA site.
The award aims to promote collaboration across the industry and highlight the work of companies demonstrating exceptional commitment to safety practices. This year, the Safety Recognition Program reviewed the best practices for each facility, paying particular attention to emergency planning & response, process safety, stakeholder engagement and communication, and heat illness prevention. The 2024 recognition dinner was held during the SOCMA Summit & Annual Meeting, which took place in Charleston, SC from October 29th-30th.
