CTI Chief Operating Officer Kevin Schwarz Announces Retirement
CTI Clinical Trial & Consulting Services (CTI), a global, privately held, full-service research organization announces Kevin Schwarz, Chief Operating Officer (COO), is retiring at the end of the year.
Kevin has served as CTI’s first and only Chief Operating Officer for more than 21 years. His vision and leadership have shaped Clinical Operations, transforming it from a small, Cincinnati-based team into a global force spanning more than 60 countries. Kevin’s legacy includes implementing numerous processes and standards that did not exist when he started, as well as hiring a strong leadership team that has driven the company’s operations forward.
“I feel very proud of what I have accomplished in my time here, but I had so many people that have helped me along the way,” Kevin commented. “I am so thankful for the wonderful support and friendships I have made over the years. To get up and do what I’ve done for 21 years – it’s a great place to work and the work we do is so impactful - I have been so blessed.”
“Kevin’s imprint is deeply embedded in our processes and culture – fostering a positive team culture, mentoring team members across all levels, and implementing complex systems – his strong passion for CTI and moving medicine forward will be felt for years to come,” remarks Tim Schroeder, Chairman and CEO of CTI. “Beyond his many professional accomplishments, he has been a mentor and friend to all, always willing to share his knowledge and support. We will miss his leadership, wisdom, warmth, and keen sense of humor.”
Kevin’s retirement will be effective December 31, 2024. CTI will announce a successor in early 2025.
